About The Artist: Chari Pere
Native New Yorker and former MAD Magazine intern Chari Pere graduated valedictorian from the School of Visual Arts in 2007 with a B. F.A. in cartooning. An invited speaker at the 2009 Israeli Presidential Conference Arts & Culture Panel, Chari has worked with #1 New York Times Bestselling author Gretchen Rubin, JLI Teens, The Orthodox Union, LearningAboutDiabetes.org, MAD Magazine, www.bullies2buddies.com, and Xinja Fitness. Storyboard clients include Comedy Central, Bud Light, Purina One, Beggin' Strips, and Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day. One of the current youngest members of the Comic Art Professional Society and a board member of the National Cartoonists Society L.A. Chapter, Chari currently lives in Los Angeles, CA with her husband and two young kiddos. She continues to use her powers to make the world a happier place, one cartoon (and hug!) at a time.
